I was rearended and the insurance company for the person who hit me wants to put used parts on my car in the repair .I heard they cant put used parts on in california ?

I'm not a body man but I've heard from others
as i understand it its up to your insurance company
there have been many lawsuits over this issue through people suing their insurance company because they got junk installed
i haven't heard if Calif. passed any laws to this effect

I can't say for sure, but I would rather have the used parts if they are factory originial parts and not some cheap after market parts that are of less quality than the originials.
This is for body parts and some suspension parts. The mechanical parts I would want new and be of OEM quality.
