~~~ If there is such as thing as reincarnation , I'd want to come back as a housefly. Their lifespan is very short,yet if they aren't killed by outside forces they live full seemingly carefree lives;and they can fly! That would be a big plus along with the obvious advantages of not coming back as a human.~~~
I would want to be reincarnated as Hugh Hefner (only not the current version of Hugh, but the younger one).
This also reminds me of a joke I heard. Two guys were discussing reincarnation and heaven and they agreed that if one of them died they would try and come back somehow and tell the other guy what the afterlife is like. So of course one of them dies. Couple of months later the survivor is outside when he hears a voice. He instantly realizes from the voice that it's his friend and he asks him what he's doing. The dead friend tells him that life is wonderful now, all he does is eat and make love, and then eat some more and make love some more. The survivor says that the dead guy must be in heaven then, to which the dead guy responds, "Heaven? Nah, I'm a bull in Montana."
I'm pretty happy with my current life, or at least who I am as a person. I'd much rather have immortality in my current life than to lose all the wisdom, knowledge and experience I've gathered, but if I had no choice and had to reincarnate, I guess I'd choose to be a human again. Some people live pretty bad lives, but few humans live lives as bad as many animals in the wild, short and often brutal.
My mother has always believed in reincarnation and I kind of do, but I don't want to. Because reincarnation, the idea of it, scares the crap outta me. Just living and then dying and then starting all over again and again and again for eternity is just...gah. Depressing, kind of.
Anyway...if I could be reincarnated into anything, I'd want to be a human, definitely, not an animal. A human with a nice life.
"IF THERE IS", let us hope it remains a fictitous Bed Side Story.
The reasoning behind your wish, is purely.
The fact, that you are unhappy with your lot in life.
All that means, is all you have to do is change things.
True to change, requires Work,
More than that, it requires heart.
If you have no Heart, your work will never be adequate,
so the contemplation of fictitous,
childish dreams is your only option.
That Will Be the Best You Can Ever Do,
If you want to go that way.
I believe reincarnation is an evolution of the spirit. So what ever lesson your spirit must learn will be provided by the life you are given.
