I suggest that you probably purchase "No Fear Shakespeare : Macbeth" which is available at Barnes&Noble. It has a translated version alongside the original text. It would be easier to formulate your own modern english version while looking at the one provided by Sparknotes.

Do you have to rewrite the whole scene, or will a part of it, with a soliloquy or monologue, do? How about Act 3, scene 1? Banquo's short soliloquy at the beginning of the scene should go into contemporary* English pretty well, and so should the dialogue in which Macbeth slyly sounds him out about the details of his intended ride. If your teacher thinks that's enough, you could end the scene with Banquo's exit, but the soliloquy in which Macbeth says he didn't commit regicide just to make Banquo's heirs kings and the dialogue with the hit-men should also be fun to paraphrase.

*Actually, Shakespeare's English was "modern."

Choose a scene with a soliloquy so there's only one person talking. Macbeth was tortured, his wife was evil. You read the book right? Watched the movie? Skimmed the Cliff Notes?

Use the modern version that Sparknotes provides. I am not telling you to submit this, but use it as a guide to make your own. It is very helpful in knowing what things mean before you translate them to modern english.

Use one of Hamlet's soliloquies, maybe consider the to be or not to be one.

What in case you wrote it in a futuristic term, or modern-day? Macbeth would desire to kill with a laser or device gun. What if it got here approximately in a wellness facility or mall? consistent with possibility an area station or lab? Use your mind's eye, and make it your guy or woman. don't be afraid to be eccentric!
