What do L.A. people think about New Yorkers? Do either of you folks have a learned distrust or envy? I'm from Philly, so I'm kinda neutral.

It has been my experience that New Yorkers hate everyone...even other New Yorkers.
New York appears to be a unique place where every resident is singularly the most intelligent person on the planet.
I'm not quite sure how that is possible, but then again...
I am from Texas and dumber than dirt...ask any Yankee.

I don't have a problem with LA people. Every place has good and bad people.

Shallow and completely obsessed with plastic surgery and money...at least this is how west coast people are portrayed on TV.

liberal, flaky, granola heads, mixed up values, everything weird starts in CA, it's like a cultural train wreck
interesting, progressive, ahead of the curve (culturally)

i was raised in la, but moved to new york when i turned 18. i absolutely hated la, i fit in much better here haha. but everyone here thinks their rich snobs [which to be honest, isn't quite far from the truth. it's two groups of entirely different people.]
