Yes, as a matter of fact, back in the 1800's (I read this), the doctor could tell if a woman was a virgin before she married. this way the new husband would know if she had cheated on him or been with other men before him.

The ONLY way he will know is if you have had sex within 24-48 hours of the doctor's appointment.
Also, you MUST be honest with your DOCTOR. Tell him or her you are sexually active!
And, a "cherry popped" is NOT an indicator of virginity, as the HYMEN breaks doing vigorous sports. The Hymen is overrated anyway.

The only way the doctor will know if you're a virgin or not is if you tell him or her. Many girls break their hymen well before they lose their virginity. It can be broken through physical activity or tampons, and some girls are born without one.

These days...no. They can tell that you're hymen is not intact but not how it got that way. Tampons can break it, rough sports like riding horses can break it...it doesn't have to be sex that does.
You can be a virgin even tho your hymen is broken so a doctor cannot tell if you've had sex.

Yes, a gynecologist can tell if your hymen is broken or not. But hymens can also be torn by sports like horseback riding, so it isn't a surefire way to tell if you've had sex or not. Good luck!
