They are all over, you just have to look. Many of the dating sites are good, singles.net, and others like it. You just have to be careful as there are some fake ones on there just looking to take your money and run.
Grocery stores, WalMart, Target, and the mall are also very good places. Believe it or not stores like Tru-Value hardware are great because you find single ladies there trying to make repairs and you can start up a conversation that way. The gym is also a good place to meet them.
Meeting them is not the problem, meeting good ones who are a match for you is. Just keep an open mind and an open heart. She's out there and you'll find her when you least expect to.

Not on the internet! From the few people I've known that have used it, eHarmony.com attracts a lot of non-internet dating people, so it may be the lesser of all the online dating evils.
Since you were married for 26 years chances are your wife never let you have friends and now you have zero social life. Make some friends, get to know and understand todays single and dating scene, establish a healthy social life, and you will find yourself having met a nice woman.

Have I got the place for you! Im serious, I met my wife here. It's a online fishing game/personal thing but the people there are really cool and I would estimate 30% being 12-18 years old 40% being 18-35 yrs old and 30% 35-55 yrs old. Theres the game you have to download, but it's free, then the main site has a profile you can fill out and post a pic of yourself...you gotta check it out
oz.ongameport.com
enjoy!
p.s. if ya need help gettin started look for 'Catt" or "nuclear" they are awesome people and are more than willing to help...good luck!

First of all you are 43 years old and some how think that special someone who will come into your life again my heart goes out to you but what ever you do don't give up. Go out to social gathering with family and friends you never know what might happen. Ask god to send you that special person that will make your life compete.
best of luck

He comes to the Philipppines on vacation and meets one in person, not through those internet sites.
Plenty of good women here looking for a good man.
Replace your X with a nice younger woman from here.

Volunteer. Go to different cultural events or other things that you are interested in. Become active in a church (if that is your thing). Just put yourself out there to meet new people. You will make friends as well as likely find some nice women to date.

if you want a nice woman, go where the nice women are
you need to make up your mind what you consider 'nice' to be and what you consider 'good' and 'friend'...
there are lots of nice good women out there...look around you...the woman at the supermarket that checks your groceries out, the woman in the choir, the one you see at the bus stop...these women could be possible friends...just look around you and get to know them
don't appear to be desparate or overly friendly...give them time to show you if they would be interested or not...talking goes a long, long way

Get to know someone perhaps a coworker or friend's friend. Also try online dating. Just don't try to hit on someone randomly like some creepy 40+ year olds (no offense)

Go out and enjoy life. Someone will see how much fun you are having in your life and maybe want to join in. It could be something as simple as striking up conversation with someone in the checkout line about a book they are checking out.
