All palms lose there spent fronds by the bottom ones turning brown and falling off or folding down. You might want to check for pests or mold. If the soil is moist, don't water.

It is normal for the older (lower) fronds of palm trees to turn brown. Our
hot drying winds during summer help to accelerate this process. If palms
especially queen palms do not receive adequate irrigation and fertilization
the fronds will tell us by appearing abnormal.

Overwatering is usually characterized by wilting appearance, sign of root rot.

Underwatering displays browning of leaves.

Lift the pot. Light = dry, heavy = wet

it could be drying out is it by a hot air duct this could be drying it out if so move away also is it getting enough light or is it by a large window and getting cold
