Does he have a reason he does not want you to be shaved? Most men like it shaved and smooth, all the better for the licking. But he may have some personal, religious, or other reasons for you not shaving.
Sit down and talk with him, get his reasoning and then at least you'll be on the same page and can possibly reach an agreement that both of you can live with.
But without talking it out it will only fester and cause problems. This is such a small thing but small things have a way of turning into massive problems. Avoid that at all costs. Listen to him and have him listen to you. Not just hear but LISTEN.

Shave what? You are the one that has to live with it. If you want it shaved, shave it. He should not make decisions about your body.

umm do a landing strip. That way there is still some hair there. but not shaving is kind of gross

Shave. If that is your preference it is your body so do it and not stop to accomodate someone else.

I understand that he doesn't want you to, but he needs to understand that it's your body, and also it may be more comfortable for you.
You need to sit down and tell him that your more comfortable shaving.
