I am having trouble with a binomial expansion. I need to expand the following function:

1/(1+sin^3 (x) )^2

How do I do this with a trig function raised to the third power?

The same way you do it with any other variable or function raised to a power:
(a^n)^m = a^(nm)

But, you might also want to simplify under certain circumstances:
sin^2(x) = (1 - cos(2x))/2, etc.
