My heater in my mazda mx6 doesn't work and its winter and its really cold. It also makes it really hard for me to drive at night time as my windows fog up really fast and without the heater they wont defog.

Check the fuse, it happened to me and took me a while to figure out that's what it was

Depends on what part of the heater won't work.

Does the blower motor work, but blow cold air? If so, either the thermostat is in dire need of replacing, or the heater core itself is clogged.

If the blower isn't blowing, then it would be the blower, a fuse or a module that feeds the blower.
