okay, my mom is convinced that no money goes to game companies, now she says you cant get shooting games cuz..

my mom said that she now is not worried about that shooting games help companies but she says that i cant get em cuz she said so... what should i do realisticly, and i dont want to just go and buy a game with my grandparents (although that is a good idea :) )

You're mom is very ignorant and her opinions are not very well informed at all.

I'm sorry, but from experience I can tell you that from your position it is hopeless to try to convince her otherwise. The fact that she said "cuz I said so" pretty much means you won't be able to change her mind no matter how right you are and how wrong she is.

You're best bet is to have someone else talk to her for you, someone who's opinion she is more likely to trust.


Note to parents:
Unless you know your child is intentionally trying annoy you, "Because I said so" is NOT a good answer.

Well, first of all, tell your mom that gaming companies do make money. They have the potential to make MILLIONS on just one game. And tell your mom that if gaming compaines didn't make any money then they wouldn't be here today.

You could just order the games that your mom wont let you play online or just go to the store with your grandparents and get the games like you said.
