The shamefulest of the shameful.
I hate and I repeat HATE Bon Jovi. Last summer while riding in the car with my friend, I discovered that I liked Livin' On A Prayer. Lo and behold, it was by Jon Bon Jovi.
Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Doesn't it just make you feel like a total hypocrite?

Fonzie T: Well, it's a good thing MCR and FOB have that distinctive 'suckiness' to their voices that gives it away.
Sarah: To tell you the truth, I kind of liked that song too. I don't know, it just sounds old I guess. It's not the normal drone of crap you hear on the radio nowadays.

Oh yea, it's happened several times, the only one I can actually recall is I liked Jet's Are You Gonna Be My Girl? but in my defense it sounds very much like Golden Earring, cept not as good.....

I dread the day I hear a catchy song I don't know & then the dj says it was FOB or MCR.....hasn't happened though.
The closest that ever happened to me was right here on YA, actually when I was asking for a band/song I didn't know the name of & it turned out to be Creed. I never *hated* em, but I knew lotsa people did & I was surprised it was them.

yeah. do no longer make exciting of me for the examples i take advantage of, because of the fact im style of a rustic/pop female while you look extra of a rock individual.... yet i offered carrie underwood's first CD the day it got here out and as we talk fell in love with in certainty each music on it. and then "earlier he cheats" got here out, and BAM anybody who till now hated u . s . music is all "OMG i like u . s .!" even however no longer basically have they no longer heard the different music by utilising Carrie Underwood, yet would gag on the sound of the different u . s . artist and while anybody says they prefer random human beings lie Soulja Boy who basically extremely have one music... it extremely is like heavily, enhance your horizons previous vh1's authentic 20 and that i'm specific you will discover an artist that has sufficient cloth to even deserve followers

I never hated KISS, but I never liked them and have always thought that they are extremely overrated. However, I have a friend who is a major KISS fan and he forces me to listen to at least one song every day. Through this, I've discovered I like Hard Luck Woman, I Love It Loud and Hotter than Hell. Yep...

I didn't really like the Little River Band all that much then I heard this catchy song...Help is on its way...and it was the Little River Band..now I love them.

lol-I've been that way with "country", I used to hate it, but there's songs I do like (the older/mellow ones)-I've always loved the Eagles, & alot of their music has some country sound to it.-maybe I was too embarrassed to admit it to the crowd of friends I had back then?

I don't like anything Prince, probably the only music I truely can not get into, no matter how much I drink....but I heard When Doves Cry and said "hey that"s not too bad, my bud said it was Prince. My reply ...NOOOOOO!!!

ughhh yea. i realllllly hate r&b rap, hiphop whatever those "music genres" are. and my friend was showing me some songs and for some stupid reason i liked With You by Chris Brown and that song Love Like This with natasha beddingfeld or whatever!!! EWWWW!!!
