I tried it with jeans, but it looks odd. I mean denim with denim? haha. Anyways, what would i wear with a denim jacket? Sweat pants? Or maybe u can show me a pic of an outfit?

Alright, you can pretty much wear anything with a denim jacket, even denim bottoms. The trick is to make it a different colored denim (blue denim jacket? black denim pants).
Since denim has a more casual look to it, it can dress down a pair of trousers, a skirt, or even a dress. (Something important to keep in mind is the fact that denim is actually sort of a semi-neutral. Most things will go with it.)

haha. That's exactly why mine sits in my closet. I try it on and then have the same thought process. I end up just wearing it with skirts but that doesn't help you any. I think it would be ok with khakis. I'm not a big fan of denim jackets and denim pants together, too matchy, but to each his own.

I like a denim jacket with a spangly top and a pair jeans that are either lighter or darker than the jacket. High heels and a smile!

You should wear a light denim jacket with dark wash jeans or if you have a dark-colored denim jacket, wear it with lightwash jeans.

Wear casual pants. Yes, jeans match way too much with the jacket, so it doesn't look so good. It isn't always good to match from head to toe, so maybe buy some casual pants that are your favorite color.

A pair of casual black pants and a white shirt, khakis. Pretty much anything but jeans.

you can wear it with Khaki or jeans and they created certain denim jackets to go with jeans..... and waer with a polo or something.
