I thought I was retired, do you think 58 is to young to retire, the job sounds so good, its in Annapolis, its about a hour drive, I think I might take it, what is better for a person, to work, or to relax?

Usually peoplpe should retire at around 65, the senior citizen age. I would take it. If it sounds nice, and puts money in your pocket, take it.

Heck, no! If you are still capable and want to work, it would definitely help out when you do retire and collect your Social Security. If I could work, I'd go for it in a minute, as long as it wasn't flipping burgers or customer service. Customer service can be horrible this time of year. ;) Good luck and I hope it works out for you, if you decide to take the job!! :-)

If the monetary and personal rewards compensate for the drive and gas, go for it. Being socially active will keep you from becoming complacent. However, if you have grandchildren or others in your life that you would like to devote more time to, then relax and fill your time with family.
