Yes, because my age now is part of who and what I am so everything I do centers around my age.

I'd have to say no, I've never really given my age a thought. I rent so don't own a house and I did alot of travelling in my 20s and 30s and 40s because I had a feeling my health would start to give out , but it wasn't age related .
As for clothes, well micro minis are out , too much celulite . I wear clothes that look good but are still comfortable, although I don't wear heels too often anymore , so maybe that's age related or balance related . LOL

With some decisions, yes.
For instance:
Relocating - sometimes think I'd like to for monetary and weather reasons, but don't want to be that far from family and their emotional support and who knows when I may really need them for other types of support?
Home buying - yep, when and if I amass enough money to do so, I'd wonder how my age would factor in a positive or negative factor in the mortgage process.
Applying for a job - I do so anyhow, regardless of my age, yet have wondered in the past whether people use that as a factor to say no - although it is illegal, they do find ways to discriminate...many times though it is because they don't want someone with too much experience and would prefer someone they can mold to their liking.
Clothes - NO...I wear what looks good on me and the styles I prefer...age plays no factor...I've never been one to bare all for the sake of it...and attempt to choose clothing that is flattering, yet somewhat stylish...not to mention comfortable!

On buying a house or looking for a job, the age factor is there, whether I think it should be or not.
Moving to another city, no.
Buying clothes, yes and no. I rarely wear anything except jeans and pull over tops , so...
I had my day as a teenager, it's their turn now. I have nothing to prove. I enjoy being the age I am.

The examples you mention are no longer an option for me. When I was in my 60's there wasn't much I wouldn't do that I hadn't done in my 40's and 50's. Then I hit my 70's and my body started taking over the decision making. After undergoing hip surgery, open heart surgery and being diagnosed with cancer, I ain't quite the man I used to be. Clothes don't matter much, I just wear whatever I find hanging around in the closet. They're better than these "made in China" rags you find in stores nowadays anyway.

Yes. I do. No more so than a young family going to an area looking for safe neighborhoods and good schools. I do admit the job market right now is a factor. I can't lift and do what I used to do. Brain is still going though. I am always consious of the fact that my life is at it's end. I am not fighting for a top spot or room for advancement. I just need a basic job. A quiet neighborhood.

A little, depending on the choice. I don't base my decision on it, but I do take it into consideration. When I bought my house I bought in a young neighborhood near downtown, when I invest I take more risks knowing that if something bad happens I'll have time to make up for it. When I applied for my job I just applied for the ones I wanted regardless of who they were looking for though, age didn't matter on that one.

Of course, my age is considered in certain decisions I have to make, but not all. Buying a house - no, age isn't considered. Buying a mini skirt - yes, age and body mass is definitely considered.

Don't think about buying a house, applying for a job, or moving to another city. But choosing clothes, yes. What has become unattractive, I cover, and do my best to wear what flatters me most, staying realistic about what I'm drawn to, imagining what I'd look like in it. Colors too. And hair.

I never used to however now that 50 is getting very close I do tend to think about those things. Not with buying a house, but most other things I do. I went shopping with my teenaged daughter last week and heard myself saying I couldn't wear an outfit she suggested I try on because it was "too young" for me! I couldn't believe those words came out of my mouth (LOL)!!

I think age relates to body and not to mind. Decisions are taken with the state of mind we are in. So if we enthusiastic age does not matter. I personally keep myself fit physically and mentally so that my children and grandchildren do not tell me I do not know this and that and I can not do this and that.
