Would it be acceptable if I just baked brownies and packaged them individually and gave them as Christmas gifts? I have a lot of things to pay for this month and can't afford getting them anything else.

Any advice would be great! Thanks!!

I think it's a great idea and probably a lot more welcome than all the gift stuff. I started doing that at work and it seemed to take a lot of pressure off me and off my co-workers.

I say give it a shot, and good luck!

Yeah I would love them, its unconventional plus it looks like you have put some effort into it rather than just picking something off the shelf in Walmart.

There's nothing wrong with that. Sending free e-cards from hallmark is even cheaper than baking cookies.

effective. i've got given in my opinion wrapped loaves of banana nut bread as holiday promises to my boss and co-workers. they actually appeared to love them -- good for breakfast on Christmas morning :-) yet cakes could be super, too.

As long as you tell them not to give you gifts.

Better not the lawyers will get you for not having an ingredient label on it. J/K. I do know of an employee who baked brownies for her jerk boss & put LOTS of Ex-Lax in them. Another boss ate some first before she told anyone. He spent his weekend on the "throne."
