Go to Chunghwa Telecom if you want to subscribe to Internet connection for your personal use and/or home PC. There is one service centre that you can go to that opens everyday from 11am to 9pm and its easy to locate that you can get internet connection:
110台北市信義區市府路45號B1樓之38 (110, Shifu Rd., #B1-38,Taipei 101, Hsinyi District, Taipei)

For public places, go to internet cafes or libraries for internet access. You can also go to Eslite bookstores in Taipei for internet access.
