My stepmom is a HUGE sap and has been a huge help during a very difficult time my mom and I are having (my mom is very sick with cancer)
Our relationship kind of follows that of the movie "Stepmom" yes, dramatic, but true.

I can't think of anything to get her for christmas...I know it needs to come from the heart but the clock is ticking and some ideas would be very helpful.
Thank you!!!

How about a Holy Bible with her name on it.

Any thing that has to do with your relationship together would be a good idea, something that lets her know not only that you have accepted her into your family but also that you care for her. Maybe a photo box with a nice picture of the both of you so every time she uses it she thinks of how special your relationship is

Whatever you get her, address the card to "My other Mother"
and let her know how much you appreciate what she has done for you. If you could find or make a plaque extolling the good side of stepmothers it would probably be just up her alley.

Make a scrapbook of when you two were growing up together. Ask other family members for pictures. Or find one really good picture of when you two were growing up, get it blown up, and get it framed. Picture frams look so cute when they are wrapped up! good luck!
