A bus will take 76 people instead of 1-4, and therefore is much greener, if you fill every seat. One bus can take 76 cars off the road.

It depends on which legal description you use, but generally the difference is the number of seats.

Up to 8 seats (including a driver) is usually considered a car in Europe.
Between 9 and 17 seats is a minibus.
18 or more seats is a bus.

My 2 year old says car to everything that looks remotely like a car whether it be a bus or a van. She does recognise train though but its all part of the learning process. Say you have a picture of each vehicle (bus, train, van and car). When you or the child points to one (say a car) you say the name and he will say it. Then when you point to another (say a train) and he says car you just remind him its a train. Its okay for him to say the same word for each of the different vehicles all you can do is keep saying the right word and after a few months he will learn the difference between atleast 2 of them.

Generally speaking -
When you get hit or run over by a car your and killed you will proberly have an open coffin.
If the same happens with a bus then all you will get is a closed pizza box.
If your still confused then seek some therapy or try out the above.

Erm bus is bigger, and you generally wait for it and oh yes, you can't smoke on a bus. There are other things too. Boring though.

You don't get in a bus you get on it, you don't get on a car you get in it and you can't sit upstairs in a car.
