As of right now im a sophomore, im 15 years old.

Although I will graguate as a junior, when im 16 years old.

My question is.
On my applications on univs. scholars. ect...

What do i put on my classification?

Sophomore (10th) or Junior (11th)?

Im thinking if i put S. they won't take me seriously. And if i put J. and my ranking is low to them and i put i haven't taken ACT or SAT they won't take me seriously either.

My counslor told me i won't need a senior year.

I will be through with the classes and credits needed to graduate a little before the end of my junior year.

The college app is about your current status so if that is sophmore then thats whay you should put. they will see from your transcripts where you are headed and what you left to complete. Plus you can use your essay to relay other information

I'd probably classify myself as sophmore or junior based on the number of credits that I've earned. If there is some sort of section where you can make explanations, I'd put the explanation there. You can always contact the schools directly if you want to know for sure.

Put Sophomore with the notation that you will graduate at the end of your Junior year. That will be impressive to them.

Hello. Applications are more than age and year in school. However do favor the "closest to being able to attend college".

Hopefully your whole package (grades and all) will allow reviewers to see you mean business!

You will do fine! And fingers crossed that you get accepted where you want to go!

Don't, spend another year in high school just to get the full time there. Unless your a super genius or something.

If you have enough credits to be classified as a Junior, that's what you should put.

There should be a comments section on the application to explain just such circumstances.

Then why are you applying so early?
