Your anniversary is important. My husband and I celebrate ours even if we feel we don't have the money. It doesnt take much. There are lots of way to celebrate without going broke. Tell him you would like to celebrate it and not watch it go by. Good luck.

you dont need money to celebrate, let him know this.
you can always just pack a little picnic lunch and sit at the park or the beach and just chat and have some fun.
you dont have to buy expensive presents or go to fancy resturants. the idea is to just spend some time together to celebrate the fact that you have found the one. i would be upset too so maybe next anniversary make the first gesture, plan this picnic or something without his knowledge and show him that you can celebrate your anniversary without it being costly

Even on our 25th anniv, we didn't have $$$. Both of our kids came home from college, we ordered in pizza and celebrated what was most important to us... our family. We just celebrated or 41st and finally had enough $$$ to go to a really nice restaurant. Food was great, but as anniversaries go, many of our "cheap" celebrations were sweeter and far more memorable. Candles have always set the mood for us.

Yes I do,. but some years are better than others due to financial situations. But you don't have to have a lot of money to make that day special. You can do something simple like a picnic in the park, a romantic dinner and a bubble bath afterwards little things like just as long as both of you are there and you all are making time for each other it should make that day special.

As your sister, I have this to say. It always pisses me off to see how he never does anything special for you or with you. It doesn't take money to have an aniversary, just love... You don't want me to tell you what I think.... I love you donna so much... I will celebrate your anniversary with you if you want me too.... Don't be mad at me for saying any of this, I am just being honest, thats what sisters are supposed to do... Love you....
