Children always seem to want to be more grown-up.
Adults often envy children's carefree life

Given the same socio-economic situations, or the same set of cultural circumstances, who do you think tends to be happier: children, or adults? (Do you find that children laugh more than grown-ups?)

Children are always happier, they are just getting the experience of life, they dont know the real troubles of the world like adults do.

My parents were way happier than me- I hated my childhood, but parents got off easy. That plays into that socioeconomic status. Parents divorced, mom & stepdad on drugs, no clothes or shoes, in and out of child services care.
I do a lot for my son, he has so much in life I never had, so I know he is happiest! That makes me happy :)!
