Yes I am asking this in Seniors room. For some, during your old dating days, for others, today...when did you know the date was never going on to the next level?

When I first met her and said, "It's nice to meet you." She said, "yeah" and snapped her eyes.

I met a handsome young man in a club and there was a certain amount of attraction, so when he asked me out for "New Year's Eve" I said yes, I had just broken up with a steady BF so didn't have plans.
He came to pick me up in his Corvette. I was very impressed once I saw the car. Except his buddy was also in the car with him and I had to sit on the console.
Once on the freeway they started passing a bottle of tequila, in a paper bag between them and expecting me to indulge. Then they pulled out a joint and lit up passing it back and forth. I was horrified and said "Are you guys nuts? You're either gonna get us killed or the cops will haul us all into jail."
They just laughed in unison.........and then one pulled out a gun...."We are the cops." Yes, they really were police!
When we got to the club, I called a girlfriend to come and get me, I didn't even let them know I left.
I'd see him in the clubs after the New Year's Eve incident and he would glare at me and follow me around. It was just weird and scary and I had to stop going to those clubs to avoid him.
I swear this is a true story. That was 35 years ago and it's still shocking even now!

The first time that I am with them and right off the bat they want to jump in the bed with me or can't keep their hands to their self. That is a big turn off for me. And that don't mean that the next time I will give in cause I won't, more than likely there will be no more dates.

As soon as I looked into his eyes, and there was a dreadful "silence' at the table, which seemed to last for ever. Then I got a headache.

When he rolls over and goes to sleep. Just kidding! I haven't dated in a long, long time, but I remember this. I knew the date was over when he started talking about his ex-wife, ex-girlfriend or his mother!

If I got the wrong vibe from them the date never even happened. Pretty good intuition about things.
