Theres a problem with the RAM.

Possible cases
1. RAM is incorrectly seated
2. Ram is not compatible.
3. RAM broken, DOA, damaged. (worst case scenario)

Can you give us more info? Give us the specs, and other useful info.

POST Beep Codes:
If the computer is beeping, the little fellow is trying to tell you that it has a problem.

Most of these PC's will just give you one beep on boot up to let you know that everything has been purged from the system, and that it's ready to go to work.

However there is a beep code that the computer will sing when there is an error in the computer system.

In the older days these little guys for example would beep 8 times if the video card was loose and on, and on...

Here are some common beep codes today.

1. No Beep = No Power, Loose Card, or Short
2. ( 1 ) Short Beep = Normal Post, computer is OK !
3. ( 2 ) Short Beeps = Post error, review screen for error code

To view the rest of the beep codes go to this website:

Good luck and happy computing !
