you need to put it to the quadratic formula.

it will be like this. (1/2)+/-the sqaure root of (1-16)/2

tat problem is unsolvable because the square root comes to be in the negative and. if you haven't learnt the imaginary unit I, then leave it like tat. u dont have to worry

write down the quad. formula

in this case, a=1, b=1, and c=4...since we take out the numbers from the equation you gave.
then just substitute the numbers.
