Tc hardly ever remembers his dreams although he did dream he was a top player for Liverpool FC on a number of occasions lol and it was definately in colour. Me? I have very vivid dreams and I do remember them or at least snippets of them. Several years ago I kept having a recurring dream that bothered me so I learned to remember my dreams by keeping a dream diary.
The recurring dream was about a house with a marble mosaic floor in the hallway and a small doorway like a cupboard part way up the stairs on the 3rd floor. I had a set of keys but couldn't find the key to unlock the door. The whole dream was based around trying to get the door unlocked. Several years later I was living in a house for homeless people (very down on my luck at that time) and the lady who owned the property had another house that her son was opening up as a half-way house. It had been used as a guest house. I offered to help clean the house and as I entered the house there was the exact marble mosaic flooring! Yes, I found the door but it was halfway up the 2nd floor staircase and I had a set of keys....I found the right key and unlocked the door. I expected to find a cupboard or just a little hidy hole but it was a room that to get in I had to crawl into it. Inside was a bed, bookshelves and a few other items. The son had had this room as a private place to go to when he wanted some peace & quiet!!!! It totally freaked me out lol. I've had other dreams over the years where I've seen places I've never been to before and then come across them years later but nothing has been as vivid as the cupboard in the wall dream.
If I have 40 winks sat downstairs I sometimes don't know where I am when I wake up.
I dream in colour, hear sounds and smell aromas too in them.

Yes, I dream in color and English since I only know English. Sometimes the dreams are so vivid that they seem real and I have to think about it to see if it was!lol! Sometimes I have to ask somebody if such and such happened or I only dreamed it!lol! that has only happened a couple times. I can remember them in the morning and if I could get to paper and pencil could write it down. Maybe I will try to do that next time. Some dreams are really in color and some are just not that color filled. Interesting question!
Cal. Girl: I'm sad to here that you have bad dreams
Goldwing:Glad to see you! Still no email addy but want to know what is going on with your great idea???? I have many times dreamed in color of flying over land and see, and usually it has to do with the way I breathe...in the dream like one would when floating in water. What do you supose these flying dreams mean?????

My dreams are in English, the ones that I remember are in color. Sometimes I remember them when I wake up and some times I don't. Sometimes after I have been awake for a little bit, the dream that I had will come to me and I will think man what a dream. The dreams that I do remember, it does feel like I am right there. And I will say this now, boy am I GLAD that some of them are NOT real.

I have had dreams in English, Spanish, and French. My dreams are always in color. My dreams do not remain with me unless I make an effort to make journal entries of them.
Only rarely are my dreams so real that I think I am actually there.
I have actually used information from dreams to help me write an essay I was assigned in a course I took last semester.

I dream in color and it often sticks with me, esp if it seems real. Sometimes I can't remember if something actually happened or if I dreamed it, it's so real.
I have always dreamed in English except once. That night I dreamed in Japanese, I actually think somehow I was having someone else's dream. It's hard to explain, but it was like the waves of their dream got in my head by mistake, I knew the dream didn't 'belong' to me.--Luvs

I rarely remember dreaming. I don't know if I dream and just don't remember or if I don't dream. Maybe because my dreams never came true years ago, I stopped dreaming. The few dreams I remember when I wake up are nightmares. They are in color and in English and seem very real.

I dream in color. I had a strange one Wed. morning. I dreamed that the wind outside was blowing so hard that I could feel it through the window above my bed. It wasn't blowing though and if it had been the window is a good tight one. But in my dream I could feel the wind blowing up under the sheet and quilt over me. It was making the covers billow and it felt wonderful. Then I woke up. I would like to have gone back to sleep and felt this sensation again. The strong breeze felt so fresh and pleasant.

Color, scent and sound for the bits I can remember, sometimes English, sometimes other languages - and yes, they seem very real for the first few seconds when I wake up and it can be very disorienting - but they don't stay with me - most are completely gone within a minute or so of waking up. My mind sort of reorients and when it does, the real world snaps into place and the dreams "poof".
What about you Wally?

Yes, in English, if it was any other language I wouldn't understand it!!!! Also always in color. Yes, sometimes I wonder was that a dream or did it really happen. Kind of like a De Ja Vue, moment. Don't you hate when that happens. Been there, done that feeling.
