nope, as all they had do is take up the tea besides. besides the undeniable fact that, they do make a superb blood lollipop, or you may make one among those chai tea the place you soak the used tampon in some tea and then as quickly as that is totally absorbed, boil it up in some sweetened milk...oh for f*cks sake. i'm even grossing myself out now. LOL

They would be if tampons weren't flushed down the toilet so much. But menstrual cups are shot glasses for vampires. Less sewage water to deal with.
