my great grandfather was 105 when he passed away, he was the oldest living person in our town, he could still drive a car and never married again or dated after his wife died 40 years ago, he still talked about her everyday up until he died.

My Oma (Dutch for Grandma) she is 94 and only just got into a rest home last week. She is still really with it - she's just a bit deaf and has had a hip operation. But her memory is as sharp as it ever was.
My other Nana - she's 88 - Love them both to bits.
I feel bad for them - they've both had just the one partner all their life and they have both been widowed for 15-20 years. It's sad they spend their last years on their own.

my grandpa. he fought the Vietnam War. He was a captain and once been prisoner of war. Past away last December and 80 something.

97 my grandmother, she worked hard during her middle age, when my granddad passed away at an early age, earning money to support 10 children.
