It depends on the woman's cycle. The average woman has a 28 day cycle, so yes, she would typically ovulate on the 14th day of her cycle. That's not necessarily always true though. I have an average 30 day cycle and I got pregnant at about 20 days into my cycle, meaning my ovulation was a little past the 15 days that it "should" have been. It would've been like the 19th-23rd day of my cycle.

no, just the average woman. some women ovulate at the end of a period or at the beginning or whenever their body wants to. it's just that the average time of ovulation is 14 days after the 1st day of period. there is no such word as "always" in science.

That's how it's supposed to be typically, but very few women are that typical that they ovulate exactly 14 days before their period.

I think every women varies based on how long their cycle is. The 14 day mark is based on 28 day cycle so if yours is longer or shorter ovulation date would be different.
