every time I switch my power book on it says the date is set to march 2001 so I change the date in the control panel then next time I switch it on same thing again , anyone know whats up ?

Try resetting the PRAM battery. If it doesn't work your PB might need a new one.

Something is preventing ti from saving your settings. Lock the control panel after you make your changes. Secondly replace the battery for your clock.

You need a replacement PRAM battery for your PowerBook.

did you click the lock icon? If you lock it then it shouldn't change

Not sure. Make sure u save it and if it still happens, call up mac and ask them.
