I always wanted a miniature train set with the people and
village, like a friends' dad had. I still am fascinated by them today. Instead I got a wind up train that broke fast. It was made
of tin. I would still like one to watch, even at my age LOL.
Did you want something so bad, and didn't get it? And you
still would like it today, or that it really bothered you growing
up, that you never got it? I am interested in what the older
seniors have to say on this. Especially those who have lived
60 plus years.

I'm 64 too, Donya. I don't remember that
name. Maybe I'd recognize the 'look'
if I saw one tho.
I remember so many dolls I admired.
And never got but a few from a grandmother. And when I was too old for
them, my other grandmother got me one.
To set on my bed, she said. I was so
disappointed that she waited all those
years to give me a doll or a toy. She
would crochet things for us or give us
practical things. But never something to
play with. I don't remember what happened to that doll, come to think of
it. Anyway, I can identify with how you
feel.
