Something that would make a good christmas gift clothing-wise that is practical. I was thinking blanket sleepers and onesies. Anything else?

My daughter turned 1 a few weeks ago. The blanket sleepers are a great idea. I prefer not to use onesies anymore, so I'd check with mom and dad about that. Hats and mittens are always getting misplaced around here so those would probably be much needed. Complete outfits are also a great gift option.

At one year old, most babies are still growing quickly enough that they wouldn't really wear out clothes before they outgrow them.

I guess practical clothing would be daily wear or comfortable play wear items. Actually... one thing that I'm finding pretty useful right now (my daughter will be 1 at the end of the month) is cardigans, zip up hoodies, etc... She usually wears one everyday over another shirt. They are great for layering in the cooler weather. Sleepers are always good choice as well.

Impractical would be fancy dresses and any item that would be for sporadic wear. My daughter has a closet full of beautiful dresses that we got as gifts that she barely ever wears (lots of light dresses that are no good for the winter).

Definitely blanket sleeper!

*slippers
*socks
*shoes (if walking)
*mittens and hat
*snow pants (if there is snow!)
*cute pink seater

You can get a cute dress possibly with tights, they are always a must have!

T shirts. Sleepers are always good. SOCKS!!!
We always loose those here.
Nightgowns.
I'd say no to onsies. They make diaper changes a pain LOL

well...in a wintery area...turtleneck onsies, lined pants (pants that have a fleece lining inside), socks, hat/mitten set, undershirts, longjohns..those are the things i'd put on a wishlist for my one year old :)
