I got this really annoying Computer virus like a or so ago and I can't get rid of it! I tried Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-aware 2007, CW shredder, A regestry cleaner program, and some online trojan removers, but the virus just won't leave. At first i thought it was virus called openme.exe (a virus that causes similar problems), but it's not. I really don' know how to get rid of this and i really need some help. By the way i also have a mcafee fire wall and virus scan(aol special edtion). Thanks alot to anyone that can help!

You can download Superantispyware free version. This program is well known to find spyware & trojans that all other miss. (No conflict with your existing antivirus). I use this program myself.

You will get daily auto. updates. Run a complete indepth scan, and if it is a really nasty virus, Superantispyware will tell you to reboot to finish the cleaning process. Owise, will just clean if found.

You don't say many details about the symptoms. This popup... does it say you are infected with a trojan and ask you to download a product? If so, if you have smitfraud and will need to use smitfraudfix which is a specialist tool to remove this type of infection.

I would also suggest running SUPERAntiSpyware as recommended above.
