I think it was because of rivalry between the top commanders of the British Army. Even though General Cornwallis lost at Yorktown, the British still had two more Armies on the continent.
Generals occupying New York and New Jersey did not come to the aid of Cornwallis at Yorktown. Had they done so, they probably could have put General Washington in the same spot Cornwallis found himself in.
They had no unity of command which is essential to success.

First, we had known the land more than the British did. Second, we had detirmination to fight off for our rights. Lastly, we won key battles because of major leaders and people of the Patriots.

Britain didn't really lose, they just kinda quit because France was starting a war over there and it was getting pretty expensive.
But America didn't lose right away because it took a while for word and soldiers to get back and forth from Britain, also we wanted to win really badly and we used Guirella warfare which took them off guard.

Because my forefathers from the Five Nations Indian Tribes showed them how to fight. What kind of idiot would dress in a red suit and stand in lines waiting to get shot? Guerrilla warfare against old fashion warfare.

I'm sure logistics caused other problems as well as winter conditions

their supply lines were overextended...too many ships were needed and it took too many days to get enough troops and supplies over here to continue the fight...plus,our boys were real bada**es
