Yep, we saw it ... a variation on the norm I thought and yes, it was the last episode only seemingly after about three of them. The story was unique tonight, very very thought provoking, great and unpredictable story line ..... and the end was truly marvellous, bringing some great and passionate good out of a truly miserable start. It perhaps does show that misguided children can become great people with the right opportunity and motivation. Loved it!

Excellent series this time, as it was last year, also loved Cracker written by Jimmy McGovern. The Street is about real people who have normal life's, and there is always a good cast of well known actors, it is very down to earth and working class. I like other things like Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives and CSI and all the glossy American shows, but you can't beat well written British TV.

I'm a bit late, but did watch it!! it reminded me of the Channel 4 drama "BoyA" which reminded me of the boys who killed James Bulger.
I was sitting in tears when watching it, especially when the judge had asked if his mother thought that the boy knew that the Baby was still alive when he had buried it! Totally shocked me!
I thought that at the end the mother of the baby would walk into the picture and take that baby away from the young couple, just so that he knew what she had gone thru all those years!!

Brilliant Bex! Different and emotional and I too could see it through the boy's eyes - he thought he was doing the right thing because of his love for his Mum but had to cope with the guilt in his adult years. I actually felt sorry for him. Brilliant piece of acting by all. xx

I thought it was both sensitively and beautifully acted. I cried more than once - once was when she saw the policeman's face and knew her baby was dead.
It was not stereotypical TV and it explored all aspects of the story. Loved it.
