Boy this is going to make me look bad here I think. The longest that I have ever spent with any one company is 6 years. I have worked for a lot of company's since the day that I started working. The rest of them that I worked at, they went out of business or I moved. But several of the jobs that I worked for, I stayed at least 5 years.

me, personally, I guess my only job would have to do......7 years teaching. (I quit when my first child was born and never found work to be more important than what I did at home)
My husband has been with the same company since 1974. That's 33 years. He hopes to get out with early retirement within the next couple of years. He has worked nights for 30 of those 33 years.

The longest time I spent at a job was seven years. I worked for a company where we built microphones. We built many mics for Michael Jackson, Mick Jaggar, & Benny Mardones, to name a few.
