I can give you legitimate reasons why he shouldn't be president. His voting record is in conflict with what he advocates. He is running on a platform of being the "anti-establishment" candidate, yet he accepts thousands from lobbyists, corporations and special interest groups. He spoke out against the Patriot Act, then voted in favor of reauthorizing it. He cannot commit to withdrawing all troops out of Iraq by 2013, the same vote he criticize Senator Clinton over, he missed himself and co-sponsored the very same exact bill designating the Iranian National Guard a terrorists organization, not he mention he supported Bush's sanctions against the country, He lacks consistency on issues like taxes and social security, first he was for raising the cap, then appointing a bipartisan commission, then leaving all options on the table, now he's back to raising the cap again.
I find Senator Obama an intelligent and charismatic man, but he lacks substance, experience and integrity.

He's lived in different parts of the world which can only be a plus in international affairs.
He has as much experience in government as a lot of others who have run so that is a non issue.
He's not a Muslim but he spent a year going to a muslin school when he was young because there was no other school around at the time and place he was in. Again, another plus because he will understand the Mid East issues like no other American politician in the past.

If he happens to be the best candidate for President of the United States then so be it. Race, inexperience, or religion should not play a role in it. I'm Republican have always been Republican since the day I turned eighteen. Some call me neo-con hence my screen name. I do not bash other peoples opinions be it rude or all togethor stupid. This is what America is made of the right to choose their self expression, but make no mistake about it. If that self-expression even hinders upon the safety of me and my family said person will have the fight of their life on their hands! God bless and God speed to a more productive America at home and worldwide!

There is no reason that he shouldn't be President. He has been a representative and a senator, while in comparison our current President was neither. He's not muslim, he belongs to the united church of christ all though it is my understanding that he was muslim when he was young. This doesn't bother me in any way shape or form, since most children can barely grasp the concept of religion
He consistently votes as he says he will, the fact checks that various news agencies run when he makes statements are almost always spot on.
As far as logical reasons go, I can't see a reason NOT to vote for him. However he's not my candidate (although a close second).

I don't know of any reasons.
I think his lack of experience is probably a good thing. He doesn't have as long a list of people he owes when he gets in the oval office. His decisions are not jepardized because of previous things he has done in the past.
I think he would serve the country best vs others who are more politically indebted.

He simply doesn't have enough experience. 2 years in the senate doesn't give him the background necessary for the position as leader of the free world.

It's just an excuse to put some greedy republican in office.
In this country, it is said that everyone has a chance, including people with some African blood and those who are women.
Let's go ahead and prove this is true for a change.

It's not about experience. It's about what you do in your experiences. Barack Obama has done more in his "short" stint as a Senator than many Senators have done in their life.
Also, you aren't very educated on Barack because he is not Muslim. His father was raised Muslim but converted to Christianity. Barack is a devout Christian. Why do people get this Muslim thing?

I cannot think of any reason he shouldn't. He is smart enough to know what he is doing. He has just as much experience as Hillary.
By the way...Muslim is not a religion if that is what you were implying...that would be Islam which he doesn't actively practice.
