Hello. Hmm.. no small screen but cheap...
Well, Ipod Nano 2nd generation (2gb,4gb; long sized) are now very hard to find since the 3rd gen. came out (4gb,8gb)
*I think you can find 2nd in eBay.. so I won't talk about Ipod Nano 2nd generation.*
On the brand, new third gen iPod Nano, you can watch videos like music videos, movies, tv shows,, etc. I don't have one yet, but I heard that music and screen quality is clear & awesome. I have found that Costco sells iPods the cheapest,
3rd gen. 4gb, $139.99(org.149.99)/ 3rd gen. 8gb, $189.99 (org.199.99)

I won't definately suggest iPod Shuffle for you since dont want a small screen. (Shuffle doesn't have one anyway) lol

There is also iPod Video(Classic), but they are expensive than Nano. But, the screen is little bigger than iPod Nano 3rd gen. I haven't see them in my local Costco. They come out in color black/white and 80 gb & 160 gb.

You should know that there's also iPod Touch. But, looky the price, whoa.. $299.99 for 8 gb!! Still, it has a huge screen.. and of course, you can control everything by one simple touch of ur finger.

Let's compare then.
Just simply click on the link:
http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/specs.html

and scroll down.. and you will see the comparison chart of all the iPods. :)

I think you should get iPod Nano Third Generation as other answer-posters said.

Then good luck on getting ur iPod!

p.s.: If you are going to get one on eBay, read the description and everything carefully, cuz the seller might sell damaged iPod.

p.p.s: If you are going to get one on online Apple, you can have a little engraving (27 letters)at the back of ur iPod for free.

Get the new iPod classic. I think i might get one soon. They look so cool, the screen is good size, it has tons of memory, but if you dont need all the memory than get the nano because all you lose is size and some memory but it can still play vids.

I love the Shuffle... it's easy to use, no fancy features.. it's just a player. It's the size of a book of matches and holds roughly a gig of music. The sound is pretty decent, cept I bought Ear-thumpers because I don't like the Ipod ear buds. I use mine mainly when exercising, so I don't need a display on it. If you're looking for ease, cost, and durability, try the Shuffle.

It depends, do you want to be able to have music and screen and pictures and still have it small? (Then you want Ipod Nano)

Or, do you just want to have loads more songs and be able to sync videos and pictures and more stuff, Though it's about twice the size of an Ipod Nano and a bit bulky and more expensive?
(Then you want Ipod Video)

Or, do you want to just be able to have music and have it very small? (Then you want Ipod Shuffle)

I think you should go for the Video...not the nano, sorry guys lol, the nano to me just looks odd and too ugly. The square just completely takes away from the "nano" fact of it and makes it just look stupid. The videos are perfect and reliable...also the touch i origionally liked but the lack memory and are a hassle to use with internet and such...just my opinion guys and gals

I recommend you don't get the iPod Touch because it has some flaws such as inaccuracy and it's nonresistant to water so if you put it in water it's DEAD.

If you're gonna have A LOT of movies on the iPod then I suggest you get the 80GB Movie iPod. But it's expensive.

For a cheaper choice but less capacity get the 30GB iPod or the 60GB one.

See them for yourself before deciding.

peace out brother!
