I work with dementia- affected people, and it does seem to come naturally to me. I feel as if this is what I was born to do, and I'm really glad that I found my true niche in life. Many people never do, so I consider myself very fortunate.

Cooking, and growing plants and vegetables! Perhaps my dishes are so tasty because I use fresh fruit and vegetables from my garden in the Spring and Summer, and put them up in my freezer for the Winter. I never measure, just taste, and all my friends and relatives really seem to enjoy my cooking!
Even a few back stabbing enemies(smile)! Wouldn't tell them my secret recipes! I would Love to meet Sage Seeker, sounds like my kind of people, and a person I would like to make friends with!!

I am a natural with kids, especially the little ones...they just seem to gravitate toward me!! I love it too, because the child in me is still there and I hope I never grow up!
I am also good at dancing, everyone in my family has been or is also.
I'm good at getting people to open up and share themselves with me and make them feel at ease. Even strangers!lol!
I'm good at helping others...always have been.
I'm good at painting on canvas, walls anything, but don't do it enough.

Counseling - am able to SEE the real picture and help/coach people to take next steps to improve their outlook, actions, and relationships with others. A God-given gift coupled with training.
Interior decorating - I think hereditary, my mom had it....I have an 'eye' for style, color, balance, feng shui and after talking with someone awhile I can decorate for them to suit who they really are and create their own special haven.
Making people feel comfortable with me and it ends up with them sharing their innermost stuff.
Being able to keep celebrating the child within...as a result I have a veritable ballgame in the park with youngsters. I can still tell knock knock jokes with the best of the 'tadpoles' and be silly as a goose.
Making a fantastic meal out of nothing...good thing too as I often get broke and the cupboard is bare!
I am blessed I believe and try to use what natural talents I have to make other people feel good.

Singing. Singing harmony. My dad taught me to sing harmony when I was four years old. It stuck with me. When people ask how I do it, I really don't know how to answer because it seems like I have always been able to pick out the harmony to just about any song. Thank you Daddy!

Singing. I started singing before I could walk. I also had the ability to remember lyrics. My family used to put me up on stage whenever there was one. I sang for the USO when I was 3. I loved it-still do.
