Question Details: The greatest generation aren't going to be here forever and need to get the story of hispanic soldiers who served in ww2 before time runs out.

One of the best WWII films is "Battlecry", which is about the Battle of the Bulge. It has a big cast (it was a big battle), including a very young Ricardo Montalban as an Hispanic (geez, I hate that term) soldier from Southern California who had never seen snow until he had to fight a rententless enemy in it.

Film makers can use artistic license. There were many fewer Hispanics in WW2 than there are here now. That is why there are fewer of their stories. They are probably proportionally correct.

Even a documentary put out by PBS didn't mention them, despite the fact that 12 Hispanics received the Medal of Honor for service during WWII.

It's criminal.
