I would select Ron Paul. Barack Obama lacks consistency, experience and substance.

Sen. Obama.
I respect Rep. Paul's drive, and his nonacceptance of the direction the current President has taken this country in, but, as it was brought up in the debate yesterday, Paul is going to have an EXTREMELY hard time getting his policy through Congress.
I think if Paul were to be elected, you'd probably see Congress more united than ever -- all against Paul's ideas.

Obama. I've been reading about Ron Paul and there are a lot of things that he supports and opposes that I think would set off warning bells if more people actually took the time to research their candidate. I don't agree with Obama on a lot of things but I definitely don't trust Ron Paul.

I would vote for Obama because it's going to take someone with a strong mind and a good heart to clean up the mess left by eight years of Republican incompetence and greed. And Paul won't do that. In fact, with his 1929 way of doing things, he'll make things even worse. He doesn't have a CLUE as to what the Constitution means: He thinks if it's not in there, it's not allowed; the 9th Amendment says otherwise.

I think the Republicans got us in this mess! I say this as a recovering Republican. I am now a member of RAA (Republican Anonymous Association), yes it has taken me 8 years to say I have a problem, I am a Republican. Join a support group near you there is still hope!!!!

Obama, and I've been a registered Republican for 30 years (and it would be the first time I would be voting for a Democrat).

I would vote for Obama because for some reason I have a feeling of trust in him. Maybe it is his lack of experience. Maybe because of this lack of experience he owes the least to anyone when he gets in the oval office than any of the other canidates?

If that happened, it would be the first time in my voting life that I would not vote in the presidential election.
