There are 2 poems here, give thoughts;

One, Two, Three, the turkey’s after me
Four, Five, Six, I really want drumsticks
Seven, Eight, Nine, I eat them every time
Nine, eight, seven, chocolate pie is heaven
Six, five, four, I really want some more
Three, two, one, man Christmas sure is fun

Christmas time is here again
And with it comes my biggest sin
Chocolate pies and chocolate cake
And other chocolate things to bake
And chocolate moose, brownies pudding
Line them up and hear me sing
Forgiveness for my deep indulgence
Chocolate things are making no-sense
Because of all the pounds they add
But without, holidays are sad
If we’re thankful it’s not so bad
So don’t be shy and come on in
And after we’ll wish to be thin again

With no offense meant..Cute at best. I was looking for my own head when I read it, and did find it "On Top"

What I was almost immediately reminded of however,,,(and here's where the no offense comes into play again), was the major theme of Scarecrows song, in the Wizard of Oz.

Never give up.

Really cute. Some of the rhymes are hard to decipher and some of the meter is a little off, but I love the holiday verve. It beats the November angst beat that everybody's coming off of. Write on.
