I think it's because they believe in the same things the Democratic Party, or the Democratic candidates believe in.
At least I hope so...any other reason would be worth revoking their voting rights, really.

A person above listed that the people at the top have all the wealth. That is correct and there is an easy way to fix it.
Most of the money is inherited. If you install the Fair Tax then everyone pays equally based on their consumption. You want to buy a yacht, then cough up the 23%.

the top 5% have 60 to 80% of the wealth
the bottom 50% have 2%
how much tax should you pay if you have only 2% of the wealth?
the top 5% pay 40% of the taxes
the bulk is on the middle class

Latinos vote republican because they're still miffed about Kennedy/Cuba and because republicans love cheap migrant labor and so they pander to them.
Others who hold the view that government is FOR the people, BY the people vote D.
The people who for R are those who feel our government is doesn't have to do anything for the people except take its money to find out what I'm doing with my womb, pander to corporations, and keep brain dead people on life support in defiance with the law and credible medical information in regard to the actual health of the patient.

People that work hard and achieve usually make more and thus pay more. Only the ones that walk around with their hands out don't pay and want some of the "rich peoples" money because they don't deserve it in their eyes. Anyone that's rich earned it by hard work. Poorer people are not less fortunate there LAZY!! It's not a black/white thing it's a lazy and un-educated thing.

Well, most women will vote Democratically due to the Gender Gap. Democrats have always pandered to political minorities, women make up one of those minorities. As for white men voting Democrat, either gay, communist, socialist atheist, pacifist, environmentalist and/or humanitarian.

Actually its the hard working people that vote democrat. Democrats stand for a socially FREE culture where the government doesn't have the right to dictate what the states do. Democrats stand for better and affordable health care so that everyone gets a chance to live better. Democrats stand for better education so people like this poster doesn't misunderstand things because he/she is ill taught at school. Democrats stand for the hard working American.

White people who vote Democratic do so because we're not stupid. We see through Republicans' lies. They don't give a damn about hard-working people of any race.
