the GOP still claim to follow "supply side" economics from the Reagan days, yet they have spent far beyond the revenues supplied through taxes. Democrats have supposedly been the "tax and spend" party but that just doesn't fit these days.

You look at their budget proposals and that gives you the real bottomline. Which is, they do whatever they like at a given moment. They are the same. Your choices are Frick or Frack.

With a White House and Congress filled with lawyers and mba's, what else would you expect. Welcome to "Wally's World" of economics and reported on by the graduates of the Joseph Goebbel's school of journalism.

Mo bull. Mo deficit spending. Same song, different verse.

When things go bad in the economy the Democrats want to tax more and create programs to help. Meanwhile the Republicans tend to want to give tax breaks to the most wealthy in hopes that they will use their wealth to create more jobs. In both cases they simply blame the other side when things don't work out. The differences between the two groups are largely just talking points, the real differences between the two major parties have disappeared. We really have a one party system now with two faces. No matter who you elect they will be part of the machine.

From what I hear, Republicans are control freaks and want to tell you everything to do. They are the religious right, they want war's and are more concerned with foreign countries then they are the US. They are for the rich people and big business. rich people don't have to pay taxes and rich companies get kick backs.

The Democrats are more laid back and say as long as your not breaking the law we don't care what you do. They don;t try to tell you what to believe. What to call a Christmas tree or when to pray. They leave that up to you.
they try to help poor people and make rich people pay their fair share of the taxes. They don;'t cater to big business and let them polute the enviroment, pay low wages and not have to make their companys safe to work at. Democrats say you have to be fair and honest and pay descent wages, not polute and make your company a safe place to work.
that is what makes the Republicans mad, because it costs them money and they are the super rich.
They call a foreign war because then their war making companies has someone to buy their products.
They don't care about how many people die as long as they don't and they make money.
