I'm going to build houses in new otleans and we r supposed to bring work boots... i've always worked in my sneakers... and I don't think I'll be needing work boots too often in the future so i don't want to pay a lot for really really excellent ones. I just need a rugged set that will last me well for a week or two. Anyone know where I can get these?

good for you that's wonderful helping out katrina victims i work for a construction company and sometimes have to run errands to job sites so i have to have work boots handy and ive bought ladies work boots at

also you can also get by with hiking boots most of the time if they look like work boots

texas steers have always treated me well and are inexpensive. i've worn them when cutting firewood in pa winters, i've owned at least 5 pairs over the years.

k mart and wall mart texas steer great shoes. espically for this job and vry inexpensivce. when in construction used them all the time. comfortable as well.
