I'm interested in the following affiliate program:

https://users.buy.at/affsignup.php?PROGID=Njc1

It says that for every appointment booked you get £20, however if you go through to the company's web site there are big calls to action to call a number.

How would these appointments be tracked?

Generally they are tracked through the referral code, at least a number of programs stateside (USA) work that way so I assume it's the same on the other side of the ocean.

I've known situations where affiliates are given a "promo" code (which is either their affiliate id alone or their affiliate id coupled with some other code) where the affiliates pass this along to their referrals to enter into an online forum or to give to a telephone operator...

However, if you have no such code & you cannot see a code that the customer passes along to the telephone operator when you refer them, it could be that the company is using you to build their business but not giving you a fair share.

You should contact the company directly because that sounds fishy.

Well they do seem to be a legitimate business ..

The address (users.buy.at) is registered to :-

person: Matt Donaghue
address: Perfilliate Ltd
address: Interlink House
address: Newcastle Upon Tyne NE4 7YB
address: UK
phone: +44 191 335 2140
fax-no: +44 191 335 2156

person: Robert Rankin
address: PERFILIATE TECHNOLOGIES LTD.
address: 7-15 PINK LANE
address: NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE NE1 5DW
address: gb
phone: +44 191 241 6500
fax-no: +44 191 241 9302

Note, however, you get paid "£20 on all valid appointment requests" ..

It is up to them to judge weather the appointment is "valid" or not and you may find they ONLY pay out when the Customer actually buys some expensive (custom made & fitted) blinds from their Sales Staff.
