If he's your husband you're not following, you're going with him. Hometowns are nice but expand your horizons. Try someplace new and if you don't like it, you can always move back to your hometown. Have faith!

I just had to answer this one myself, only it was the opposite. I wanted(needed) to move to another state, and he said, flat out without any discussion, "I am never moving, I love it here, and that's the end of it" After Christmas, I will be moving, alone. Not my first choice, but if the man is not even willing to talk about it or come to some compromise, then, ultimately, I am responsible for my own happiness. But it would have been nice if he had shown at least some concern for my feelings. You should try to get him to compromise. Good luck to you, and myself as well. We have been married for 19 years, and I never knew how selfish he was.

Do you trust your husband? Do you love your family more than him? What is keeping you in the town where you grew up? You need to think about these.

Are there children involved or is it just u and him? Either way, think about it alot. Make sure that is what u want because believe me, I (write) from personal experience, it's a serious move to go somewhere far from your family, you could end up feeling very alone and isolated..

So...if you wanted to move and he didn't would that be a logical reason for him to end the marriage?

Think it out, and act accordingly. Marriage is a 2 way street and both partners need to consider their spouse's wishes.

Work it out, talk to him and resolve the situation.

Move. You can always go back if you don't like it. Life's too short to spend in one location forever.

Why does he want to move?
Talk about it with each other.
