I think it is an urban legend, I think people here in the midwest tell the new guy at school who moved in from the Big City, then they send the guy out into the field and drive off until he calls them feverishly on the cell phone telling them its not funny, then they come back for him.
Cows are really big animals and they don't sleep standing up and it is nearly impossible to tip any animal that is standing of that size.

I live in Iowa, and I have never been cow tipping, nor know of anyone else who has either. But I've always wanted to go, especially since my friend from Germany came and asked all about it because he read thats what kids do here, haha.

Either way, it doesn't kill a cow. You folks should go vegan rather then have an argument weather it's moral to push a cow :)
