There is no rule that I can find.......plus women can play! I can stand up to all the boys/girls I've faced so far, some of them, twice my size! Just because we are girls doesn't mean we aren't strong and can't play a sport that has been considered a man sport for so long. i am about to change that.

Like most employers the NFL does not discriminate against race, gender, creed etc. There is no rule in the NFL that says a female cannot play the game and no such rule in the NFL Player's Association. That being said, as a female player you'd still be held to the same performance expectations as everyone else. You'd still have to compete for your position on the active roster and perform as well as anyone else come game time. So if you can make an openfield tackle on a wide receiver or fight past a right guard to sack the quarterback than you're more than welcome to play.

If a woman played in the NFL most likely it would be a kicker
she would make history in a few catagories
1. 1st female to be in the NFL
2. 1st female to only last 1 game in the NFL she would get killed

Yes, a girl would be able to play in the nfl, it is not against the rules. she would just have to be expected to play as well and be treated the same as the other people on the team.

Interesting choice of words from Emmit given the fact that the effects of head injuries are causing many former NFL players to lose their minds

It would take a freaky hardcore bizatch to play in the NFL. Especially on defense. I can't see it happening. Men are just built differently.
Maybe a kicker. Maybe. But I wouldn't bet on that either.
O wait. Maybe Rosie O Donnell on steroids and cocaine. She could be a fullback. She's already nasty enough.

No, there's no rule against it, but the answer would be NO. The only position a woman could possibly play would be a field goal kicker and that would be for short distance, and who needs a short distance field goal kicker?
If they did let a woman play it would just be for posturing for the political correct swine who somehow get some sick joy out of dumbing down sports teams, society and competition.
Ref: See New Mexico State/University of Colorado chick field goal kicker.

There is no rule that I'm aware of. I think the best chance would be as a kicker. There was a chick that started as a kicker for a Division I college a few years back.

There's no rule that says they can't. But it would be physically impossible for a woman to match up to even the smallest guys in the NFL, let alone a 370lb lineman or a 250lb linebacker. there was a woman that tried out for kicker one year, but didn't make the cut. I think it was with the Cardinals, but not sure.

No rule against it. You find a woman with the skills needed and the physical strength and endurance to handle the NFL and see what she can do. I know such a woman does not exist.
