I study by making weird associations in my mind. Sometimes they make sense, and sometimes they don't. An example is when I was studying biology, I remembered the lysosomes engulf bacteria by thinking of bacteria-killing Lysol. Also, if a word reminds me of something and means something else, I draw a little picture next to it of the thing it reminds me of doing the thing that it really is. For example...say you wanted to remember that Bush was the president during Sept. 11. So I would draw a bush with the twin towers popping out of it. Then when I get to the test, I remember my funny little drawing and it helps me to remember what things mean.

If you're trying to remember lists, come up with an acronym (a word made out of the first letter of every word in the list). That way when you get to the test, if you have to pick out which one doesn't belong or something, then you can think of your acronym and be like "well that word doesn't have a P in it... so obviously "press" is the wrong option in this list. Etc. Hope that helps!
